Jpcsp Compatibility List: Recovered Historical Records

Historical records, not current compatibility results. This page preserves a small, verified part of the former Jpcsp compatibility list. The seven recovered web-table entries below refer to Jpcsp v0.2 rev945. We have not reproduced those tests or checked these games against a current build.

The original compatibility page captured on 22 November 2012 contains these seven records. The capture date tells us when the page was saved; it does not establish when each game was tested. This is a partial reconstruction, not a complete copy of the original database.

Recovered game records

  • Puzzler Collection — ULES01066; region code E; historical status: Playable.
  • Bust-A-Move Deluxe — ULUS10057; region code U; historical status: Playable.
  • Super Fruitfall — ULES00639; region code E; historical status: Playable.
  • Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords — ULUS10225; region code U; historical status: Nothing.
  • Breath of Fire III — ULES00193; region code E; historical status: Playable.
  • Astonishia Story — ULUS10083; region code U; historical status: Playable.
  • Blokus Portable: Steambot Championship — ULES01016; region code E; historical status: Playable.

Region codes and status labels are retained from the old list. In particular, “Playable” is an old report for the stated revision, not a promise of working audio, a completed playthrough, or compatibility with PPSSPP. “Nothing” likewise describes that old entry, not a claim that the game cannot run today.

Super Fruitfall: recovered detail for record 12

The archived detail view for Super Fruitfall identifies ULES00639 and reports about 30 FPS, missing sound, and better stability with the old “Only GE Graphics” option. Those are historical observations. The surviving record does not establish the tester’s full hardware setup or whether the whole game was completed.

If you arrived through an old link containing id=12, this is the matching record. Do not translate that frame-rate figure into an expectation for a different computer or emulator version.

What happened to the letter filters?

The recovered A-filter snapshot contains Astonishia Story. The recovered T-filter snapshot contains no entries. These reflect the surviving snapshots only: an empty historical filter does not mean no PSP games beginning with that letter exist or can run. The full old A–Z database has not been recovered.

The 2010 forum compatibility list

The former forum also maintained a separate compatibility thread, number 6368. The forum compatibility list captured on 13 June 2010 records different game serials and emulator revisions. The examples below are a selection from that source, not a replacement for the full thread or new tests by this website.

  • Burnout Legends — ULES00125; r1040; intro reported.
  • Burnout Legends — ULUS10025; r1078; loading reported.
  • Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII — ULES01044; r1000; intro reported.
  • Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII — ULUS10336; r1481; reported playable.
  • God of War: Chains of Olympus — UCUS98653; r1452; reported partly playable; encryption flagged.
  • Monster Hunter Freedom Unite — ULES01213; r1478; intro reported.

Read the serial, revision and result together. For example, the two Crisis Core entries above concern different serials and different revisions, so the list cannot tell us whether region alone caused the difference. Reaching an intro or loading a game is not evidence that a complete playthrough worked. The encryption note is part of the historical report, not a download or circumvention instruction.

If your old bookmark includes t=6368, this section identifies the matching thread and links to its surviving archived page. For a game not listed in our selection, consult that snapshot for the original serial and revision. Neither this selection nor the old forum establishes present-day compatibility.

Checking a game today

Match the game’s serial and region, note your emulator version, then test loading, controls, audio and a normal save. Use our current compatibility troubleshooting guide to record what happens. A short test should be labelled as a short test, with any missing features stated plainly.

For software, use the developer download links. For the context behind old revision numbers, read the Jpcsp builds and setup guide. This independent website does not present these archived reports as tests conducted by the current editors.
